It is the third and final week of Maine Art Paintings and Sculpture’s 20th Anniversary Celebration. We can’t believe it. What an amazing two weeks it has been. We kick this weekend off with Craig Mooney. He will be back again, after his fabulous solo show in July, and will be in the gallery all day Saturday, August 5th. Stop by for a visit. Also, be on the lookout for Shakespeare amongst the Sculpture on Tuesday evening. Our local Shakespeare group will be performing in and around Lyman Whitaker’s sculptures. It is sure to be a treat!

August 6th, Sunday – David Witbeck takes over Maine Art Paintings and Sculpture at 14 Western Ave. 10am-5pm. He will be hosting a coffee talk at a local coffee shop from 11am – 12 noon. This is limited to 10 people so please contact the gallery to sign up. 207-967-2803. David will also be doing a demonstration of his woodblock printing in the front parking lot around 2pm.
August 7th, Monday – Philip Frey takes over Maine Art Paintings and Sculpture at 14 Western Ave. 10am-5pm. He will be hosting a coffee talk at a local coffee shop from 11am – 12 noon. This is limited to 10 people so please contact the gallery to sign up. 207-967-2803.
August 8th, Tuesday – Shakespeare Amongst the Sculpture. Our local Shakespeare troop, Maine Stage Shakespeare, will entertain us with pieces from their summer show, A Mid Summer Night’s Dream. Come to the gallery at 14 Western Ave in Kennebunk and enjoy the performance from 7ish to sunset.

August 10th, Thursday – Last day to see the show at Maine Art Shows, 10 Chase Hill Rd. Kennebunk, Maine. We are open from 11am – 5pm everyday.
