I’ve always been passionate about drawing and color. I started in figure drawing because I enjoyed the connection between what your eye sees and the forms your hand makes. I appreciate line and movement, but above all I love color and using it in new ways. As this passion for color has evolved over time, so has my interest in texture. I embrace the use of non-traditional methods and rule-breaking with what a medium might normally be used for, applying my love for experiences and people in my art. My natural optimism is infused in my work as I seek to underline the true beauty in even the simple or mundane. As life experiences occur, they further define what I consider joy and contentment. My artwork is forever evolving, but the constant undertone dwells in how the blending of exaggerated colors and textures can make even the simplest of things beautiful. My art, just as life, consists of spontaneous connections and experiences. Recording these moments on different surfaces and mediums is an intentional interaction; it's my way of playing and doing what I love while also observing and documenting life.
Hope my work brings you joy!
