The Happiness of the Holidays

This week we are stopping for a second to wish you all the happiest of holidays. We hope each of you find comfort and joy in family and friends as you gather together for whatever reason over the next few weeks.

Since the beginning of the month, we have been incredibly busy greeting new travelers and old friends. Many were here to celebrate Kennebunkport’s Christmas Prelude, to enjoy the lights and cheer, and of course to pick up a last-minute gift or two for their favorite people. During this time, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and warmth each visitor has brought into the gallery.  The smiles and friendly greetings have been abundant this year.

We here are Maine Art are so lucky to spend our days surrounded by beautiful works of art and a staff that truly enjoy coming to work everyday. It makes it easy to give this happiness back to our customers. It also makes the gallery a wonderful place to be every day, but especially this time of year. So, as the last few days of the “shopping season” wrap up, we invite you to stop in, even if it’s just to say, “Happy Holidays!” and share a smile.

Please know, if you are still in need of ideas for holiday gift-giving, the Small Works Show is still full of wonderful pieces to mark memories or create new ones, and Wind Sculptures can always be snuggly placed in the back of your car for a special surprise.  Don’t forget – we also have gift certificates for those who are hard to buy for.

We will be open daily from 10-5 at 14 Western Ave in Kennebunk. There is parking right out front, so you don’t have to brave the cold. Remember, we will be closing at 1 p.m. on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day.
